- That’s mIRC that you can see all over the place. The little things up the top are clocks. Windows XP, 1600 × 1200 on a 19” monitor.

- Comment by Xar – Wednesday 16 June 2004, 1:22 AM
- This is a Brown Recluse spider bite (USA) and unlike my first impressions is real!
- Comment by Ned – Wednesday 16 June 2004, 5:19 AM
- Yes, that is indeed correct :-) Redbacks aren't particularly scary - although they are poisonous and can kill babies and sick people.

- This is a crazy program - what is it? Computer engineering, discrete mathematics and spanish. My comment is that he should do MATH2000 earlier on.
- Comment by Martin – Friday 16 July 2004, 3:36 AM
- Its a coreq/prereq for heaps of maths and engineering subjects.
- Comment by Matt – Friday 16 July 2004, 12:02 PM
- Yes, it is computer systems engineering + discrete math (BE/BSc) with Spanish electives. I'm avoiding MATH2000 as long as possible. I've weighed in my optio
- Comment by Matt – Friday 16 July 2004, 12:03 PM
- ns and feel that MATH2000 is in the right place. Matt.
- Comment by Martin – Friday 16 July 2004, 1:38 PM
- MATH2010 continues on from the differential equations in MATH2000 but I guess you learn most of what you need in MATH1052.
- Comment by Martin – Friday 16 July 2004, 1:43 PM
- But I guess the rest of it is graph theory and crap so you might get away with it. I'll be seeing you in MATH2300 this semester and maybe a few more next year.

- Hey Ned, I was considering changing my COMP2502 tute time so I could be in your class. Does that make me a stalker?
- Comment by Ned – Friday 16 July 2004, 1:58 PM
- It is far from certain whether I will attend a tute just because I am signed up for, or have allocated time for, it here, or indeed, at all.
