Saturday 3rd March – Crouching at Cougal Cascades
Currumbin Bay
Bronwen and I drove to Currumbin Bay, where we met Cooper, who was setting up candles in paper bags to make a cool pattern on the sand. We helped for a short while, then drove to Cougal Cascade. Concerningly, the car has started to have trouble starting—sounding like a flat battery.
Crouching at Cougal Cascades
Bronwen and I walked to the end of the path where there was a small abandoned sawmill, and then walked slowly down the creek back to the start of the path, stopping several times for Bronwen to pose for photos. She had seen some photos of people with interesting spines and wanted to replicate them, so she posed in odd shapes, looking something like a rock. A little while later she found an interesting log and posed on that, looking like a forest fairy, and then a short while later, an interesting rock and posed on that, and then some interesting decayed leaves so tried to make a covering for her modesty out of them and posed with those, before finding some big vines and climbing them.
