Thursday 24^th October – Island Vibe Festival 2019

Stradbroke Island

I drove to Cleveland—managing to find parking quite quickly—and caught the 11:30 AM Stradbroke Flyer Gold Cat to Stradbroke Island, and the bus from Dunwich to Point Lookout. I walked up to “The Shed”, did the absolute minimum to set it up, and headed down to Island Vibe Festival 2019.

I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking, but suffice to say it was an amazing festival, and I didn’t die.

I headed down to the festival around 10 AM. Bronwen—who had been up at Rockhampton—arrived in the evening.

Yoga with Stef

I got up early and walked down the beach to Adder Rock Campground to photograph Yoga with Stef.

I spent the rest of the day at the festival.

Sunday 27^th October – Island Vibe Festival 2019

Adder Rock

I got up early again to head to Yoga with Stef at Adder Rock, and also had a small wander through the campgrounds, then back along the beach to the festival.

Monday 28^th October – Island Vibe Festival 2019

Stradbroke Island

The festival finished last night, so today was a combination of people busy pulling the festival down and packing it up, and people lazing about on the beach and relaxing after festivalling hard for the past few days.

Home

I caught the 5:50 PM Stradbroke Flyer Gold Cat back to the mainland, picking my car up in Cleveland and driving home—via the supermarket for some groceries. I got home just after 7:30 PM.
