These ideographs are from the bottom of an urn found in the Cooktown area, in the far north of Queensland, Australia. It is hypothesised that the urn may have been a Chinese burial urn from the gold rush days, when there were considerable numbers of Chinese in and around Cooktown.

The finder of this urn is interested in the translation of these ideographs. Any help in deciphering them would be appreciated, as neither the finder nor I understand any ideographic symbols.
