Course InformationCourse ContentInternet Interface Design aims to develop an understanding of the importance of human computer interfaces and how to apply design principles to develop a good, user-friendly web page. HTML is introduced as the primary programming language, with JavaScript and PHP being incorporated to maximise user interaction. It is expected that students who successfully complete the course will have acquired an understanding of a variety of web languages and be able to design interfaces for Internet applications according to the principles of human computer interface design. Students' progress is continually assessed throughout the course by three ongoing assignments and a final exam. A course overview can be accessed on-line. AttendanceCourse participants must attend one 2-hour lecture, one 1-hour tutorial and two 2-hour practical classes per week.
