Saturday 3rd March – Cooper’s Candle Installation
Currumbin Bay
Bronwen and I drove to Currumbin Bay, where we met Cooper, who was setting up candles in paper bags to make a cool pattern on the sand. We helped for a short while, then drove to Cougal Cascade. Concerningly, the car has started to have trouble starting—sounding like a flat battery.
Crouching at Cougal Cascades
Cooper’s Candle Installation
After not swimming at Cougal Cascades (it was far too cold) Bronwen and I drove back to Currumbin Alley and went for a swim, then helped Cooper finish off and then light his nearly 2000 candles he’d spent all day setting up on the beach.
Night
We drove home, had two minute noodles for dinner, and watched most of “James Bond: Live and Let Die”.
