03.08.2008 – Sunday 3 August – Sunday Live
- Morning
- • I caught a train out to Ferny Grove, where I met Wayne and picked up my new phone. I then caught a train back to my place, and a bus to Maz’s. We put his broken screen on my old phone and managed to backup my data on it and get it onto my new phone, before I had to rush off to meet Raymond.
- Afternoon
- • Raymond and I rushed to Guyatt Park, only just getting there in time for the City Cat to West End. Rushing isn’t my strong point right now—apparently the cracks in my ribs are lazy. Fortunately the City Cat was a bit late, so we managed to make it. Unfortunately the City Cat was a bit late, so we had to rush from the City Cat to Ferry Road, only just getting to the ABC Studios, where Bronwen already was, on time for the first of this year’s Sunday Live concerts.
- Evening
- • Raymond, Bronwen and I went looking for where my car accident had been. I found where I think it was—at the intersection of Peel and Cordelia, but I don’t know for sure. Bronwen and I then caught a bus to Maz’s, nearly freezing in the process of walking the last little bit. I flashed my phone with a new ROM—S64. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be particularly impressive.
- Night
- • Bronwen and I walked back to my place from Maz’s, then on to Rosalie where we had curry from Halim’s. It is so cold.
