19.06.2008 – Thursday 19 June – Storage
- Afternoon
- • I picked Bronwen and her mum up from town, got stuck in lots of traffic, and eventually managed to get home and go to Umart to pick up a new Western Digital Green Power 1 TB hard drive for $218, via their service centre so Bronwen could return her faulty DVD drive.
- Night
- • Bronwen and I bought dinner from the Ville and drove to Kieran’s, where I got a SATA power adaptor. We picked Grace up from Indooroopilly station, dropped Bronwen back at her parents, picked up Stella, and rushed back to Indooroopilly where we watched “Sex and the City”. After that, I installed my new 1 TB hard drive—sitting out the back of my computer on a SATA cable poking out a PCI slot hole.
